ViiV Healthcare is 100% dedicated to finding new ways to limit the impact of HIV and is committed to new approaches that deliver effective and innovative medicines for HIV treatment and prevention.
The ViiV Clinical Sciences department leads the clinical study strategy for all new compounds in development as well as all marketed products. Clinical Sciences focuses on the design and development of high quality, timely studies in people of new medicines to test the safety, efficacy, and pharmacology of ViiV medicines in development and on the market. The Clinical Sciences team uses this information to contribute to regulatory submissions, product labeling, and communication of key clinical information at conferences and in scientific publications.
This position works with the ViiV Healthcare Clinical Sciences team and will involve collaboration with other R&D and Global Medicine groups. As part of those teams, you will gain cross-functional experience in clinical research, drug development, and scientific communication. This position is located primarily in the Durham, NC with some opportunities for remote working.
Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the duration of the 12-week internship (May/June-August 2026).
Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible.
This job posting is for a temporary role as an employee of Atrium on assignment at GSK. The individual selected for this role will be offered the role as an employee of Atrium; compensation, medical benefits, fringe benefits and other terms and conditions of employment shall be presented by Atrium upon offer. The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on several factors, including skills, competencies, experience, educational degree obtained, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law.
In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirement.
Pay Rate Range: $22/hr to $43/hr
