The Mass Spectrometry & Characterization group is responsible for the characterization of therapeutic proteins in clinical development using a wide array of analytical technique including mass spectrometry, as well as particles and aggregates characterization. Our group supports the development of innovative and quality medicines for patients through cutting-edge analytical science.
The GSK Mass Spectrometry & Characterization group is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. The co-op's primary responsibility will be assisting in optimization of the design of the peptide mapping by LC-MS workflow through clearly outlined experiments. Working closely with team members, our co-op will learn key concepts of mass spectrometry analysis, including sample preparation, instrument/data analysis software, and data interpretation. The ability to work both independently and within a team environment is expected.

This job posting is for a temporary role as an employee of Atrium on assignment at GSK. The individual selected for this role will be offered the role as an employee of Atrium; compensation, medical benefits, fringe benefits and other terms and conditions of employment shall be presented by Atrium upon offer. The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on several factors, including educational degree obtained.
In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirement.
Pay Rate Range: $21/hr to $40/hr
