Job Description

As the Sales Operations & Effectiveness Intern, you will gain exposure to key operational activities, data analytics, and field enablement initiatives. You will work with leadership team, core systems, interpret data insights, and contribute to commercial processes that drive sales effectiveness—while supporting initiatives that advance business priorities across the organization. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Sales Operations Support 

  • Assist the Sales Ops Manager in managing updates and coordination across key sales tools and systems (e.g., dashboards, reports, CRM-related tasks). 
  • Help with triaging field queries and support resolution by collaborating with internal teams. 
  • Support preparation for business reviews, performance updates, and planning cycles. 
  • Assist with conference/convention logistics such as attendance tracking, budgets, and documentation. 

 

Field Business /Sales Effectiveness Support 

  • Support FBM in monthly KPI and performance tracking, including consolidation of field insights and operational metrics. 
  • Contribute to onboarding documentation, training materials, and capability building initiatives. 

 

Data Analytics & Reporting 

  • Work with Data Director & Data Teams on data analytics for reporting. 
  • Assist Vendor team in generating simple dashboards, charts, and summaries to support sales insights. 
  • Participate in analytical discussions and help prepare materials for leadership reviews. 

 

Operational Coordination 

  • Support meeting planning, field communication updates, and logistics. 
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and operational tasks as
  • needs arise. 

 

What You Will Learn 

  • Exposure to end-to-end sales operations, tools, processes, and governance. 
  • Understanding commercial execution, field force enablement, and performance metrics. 
  • Hands-on experience in data interpretation, business insights, and cross-functional collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Analytics, Operations, or related disciplines. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. 
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively. 
  • Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the 12-week internship (May/June-August 2026).
  • Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible.

  • Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn with a positive attitude.

  • Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check prior to assignment target start date.

  • GSK Interns and Co-ops are offered a competitive hourly pay rate and benefits. Please note, benefits eligibility determined the month following date of hire.
  • This job posting is for a temporary role as an employee of Atrium on assignment at GSK. The individual selected for this role will be offered the role as an employee of Atrium; compensation, medical benefits, fringe benefits and other terms and conditions of employment shall be presented by Atrium upon offer. The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on several factors, including skills, competencies, experience, educational degree obtained, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law.

    In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirement.

    • Pay Rate Range: $22/hr to $43/hr
